Lane restrictions on a portion of Kenilworth Access beginning Wednesday

The city of Hamilton says a portion of Kenilworth Access will be reduced to one lane beginning Wednesday, Dec. 15. 

The city says the “rehabilitation project” at the Kenilworth Water Reservoir includes:

• The removal of all contaminated soil from the reservoir surface
• Placement of clean soil to cover the reservoir
• Joint repairs to the exterior of the reservoir
• Column repairs to the interior of the reservoir

The city says that drivers travelling in the area during peak hours may experience delays. The project will wrap-up in July of 2022
