Hamilton’s beloved Vera got a new paint job, paying tribute to another legendary craft from the fleet. The Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum’s famous Lancaster has been painted to honour the VR-X, also known as the X-Terminator. It flew more missions than any other Lancaster, but was sadly scrapped after World War Two. One lucky winner also got a chance to go up in Vera and experience her flight.
