Kirilow case put over until April

The Burlington woman who pretended to have cancer and then kept the money raised was in Milton court today on six remaining fraud charges.

In November, Ashley Kirilow pleaded guilty to the most serious charge – “fraud over five thousand dollars” — which she has yet to be sentenced for.

That charge stems from a fundraiser two years ago at Club 54 in Burlington.

The other six charges are for fraud *under* five thousand dollars.

But the defence was not ready to proceed so the case has been out over until April.
