CHCH News anchor Matt Ingram speaks with King’s University College academic dean Mark Yenson on Pope Francis’ legacy following his death.

Ingram asked Yenson what how he thinks Pope Francis will be remembered, and how he stood out differently than the popes who came before him.

Yenson spoke about Francis’ legacy and how significant the apology he made in Alberta in 2022 impacted the church’s role in Canada’s residential school system.

Ingram then asked Yenson if Francis’ efforts to modernize the papacy will be continued by the next pope.
