St. Catharines will kick off 2025 with its annual New Year’s Day Levee community event at a historic local building.

The festive gathering will take place on Jan. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lake Street Armoury and is co-hosted by the Lincoln and Welland Regiment and the 10th Battery, 56th Field Regiment, RCA.

The City of St. Catherines says it’s an “opportunity to connect with local history and strengthen community ties.”

Mayor Mat Siscoe, city council members and other civic leaders will be present, and refreshments will be served.

The New Year’s Day Levee is free to attend and no registration is required.
