Juno weekend is in full swing with thousands of fans in town to see the biggest names in Canadian music.

On Saturday fans got the chance to get up close and personal with their favourite artists at Lime Ridge Mall.

16 Canadian artists were there including hometown heroes The Arkells and newcomer Shawn Mendes.

A Juno Gala Dinner was also held on Saturday at the Hamilton Convention Centre where 35 awards were handed out.

The Juno Songwriters Circle will be held at noon on Sunday at Hamilton Place.

The big awards show everyone has been waiting for is Sunday night. CHCH will have live coverage from the red carpet.
