Jonathan Pedneault steps down as Green party co-leader

Jonathan Pedneault is stepping down from his role as co-leader of the Green Party of Canada.

Pedneault announced his resignation via X Wednesday morning.

“I therefore hereby submit my resignation as Co-Leader of the Green Party of Canada, effective immediately, ” said Pedneault in the post.

His resignation comes shortly after the Greens won in only one riding.
