James Taylor helps victims of wildfires

James Taylor is going to help victims of the wildfires in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

At his concert last night at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton, he announced he’s turning two shows in Alberta next month into benefit concerts.

Taylor says proceeds from tickets to his June 7th and 8th concerts in Calgary and Edmonton will be donated to the Canadian Red Cross.

He says the wildfire is a “major national catastrophe and it’s just impossible to ignore it.”
