‘It’s just bad policy’: Advocates urge Ontario to reverse its ban on speed cameras

VIDEO: Effective Friday, speed enforcement cameras across the province have ceased issuing tickets and are no longer in use. The Ford government has banned the automated devices, calling them a “cash grab” and announcing millions in funding to support other road safety measures. But advocates say banning their use makes Ontario’s roads more dangerous. CHCH News’ Matt Ingram reports.
