One of the top global awards was handed out today – the Nobel Peace Prize. But this years’ recipient wasn’t able to receive it in person.

The winner – Nagres Mohammadi, an Iranian womens’ rights activist – is currently serving 12 years in prison.

While her family and community say they’re honoured, the decision is likely to anger Tehran.
