Intersection at Parkdale Avenue, Main Street East in Hamilton to be closed temporarily
The intersection at Parkdale Avenue and Main Street West in Hamilton will be closed for three days starting on July 14.
Starting Monday July 14, the intersection of Parkdale Ave & Main St E will be closed for watermain installation as part of ongoing work to build the Light Rail Transit (LRT) project. This work supports safer roads & better transit connections.

The City of Hamilton says the road closure is for a watermain installation and that it is part of the work to build Light Rail Transit (LRT) in Hamilton.
The intersection will be closed from July 14 to July 16, weather and logistics permitting.
The closure will affect traffic in all directions and HSR services.
