International relations expert speaks about Canada-China trade talks

CHCH News anchor Matt Ingram speaks with international relations expert Margaret McCuaig-Johnston to talk about Canada-China trade relations.

McCuaig-Johnston is a senior fellow at the University of Ottawa, a board director of the China Strategic Risks Institute and a member of the Canada-U.S. Commission on China.

She spoke about whether Canada should pursue deeper trade ties with China, and on the idea of restarting free trade talks.

Ingram asked on what McCuaig-Johnston advice could be issued to the next federal government once the election is over.
