Inquest called into construction death

There will be an inquest into the death of construction worker Larry Allan Phillips.

The announcement came Friday from the Regional Supervising Coroner for Guelph. Phillips died on December 15th, 2009 while employed at a construction project in Oakville.

The inquest is mandatory and is expected to last four days. The panel will hear from approximately 10 witnesses.

The inquest is set to begin April 15th and will examine the events surrounding Phillips’ death.
