Infamous downtown Hamilton bar gets a fresh start

A former but infamous downtown Hamilton tavern is getting a fresh start after decades of drugs, violence, and even murder.

A new “old-style” European bistro is set to open its doors this week and ownership says it’s not looking to sweep the past under the rug.

Jason Gaidola reports, owners Alvaro Valencia, Marvin Grimm and Peter DeSotto hope to inspire customers.
