Indigenous homicide rates five times higher than non-Indigenous Canadians

Statistics Canada says that Indigenous people are still being murdered at a rate five times higher than that of Non-Indigenous Canadians.

That means reconciliation is still a long way off, but the truth of the history of Indigenous peoples is starting to resonate.
