Impaired driver also speeding

A 22-year-old Stoney Creek man is facing impaired driving and speeding charges.

The man is accused of going almost 170 kilometres an hour.

The incident happened in the area of Mud Street and First Road, just before 11 Monday night.

The speed limit for that area is 70 kilometres an hour.

The man’s name has not been released.
