HWDSB student can not attend school due to provincial shortage of sign language interpreters

A Hamilton mother says her deaf and autistic son can’t attend school because he doesn’t have access to a sign language interpreter and often becomes frustrated when he can’t understand or communicate with others. The Hamilton Wentworth District School Board says interpreters are hard to come by.
