How people and pets suffer in hot cars

For the second time in as many days, animal welfare officers are warning pet owners not to leave their dogs locked in a car on a hot day like today.

On Sunday, a dog died in a hot car at the Vaughan Mills Shopping Centre, and earlier today another dog was rescued from a locked car at Sherway Gardens. But as Scot Urquhart tells us, dogs aren’t the only creatures in danger in a hot car.
