House fire in St. Catharines sends one to hospital

A fire tore through a home on Pelham Rd. near Vansickle Road just before midnight on Wednesday.

One person was taken to hospital. Police say they are in stable condition.

Police say there is nothing suspicious about the fire at this time and the cause and how much damage was done is not known yet.

The Ontario Fire Marshall has been called in to assist with the investigation.
