Hong Kong demands surrender of pro-democracy activists

Eight pro-democracy activists living abroad are facing a demand to surrender to Hong Kong authorities after they were charged with alleged national security offences.

Hong Kong’s chief executive says those who were issued arrest warrants will be pursued for life. The activists now live in several countries including Canada, the U.S., Britain, and Australia.
