Indie film distributor A24 purchased the rights to The Witch for a cool $1-million, an investment that paid off after the film opened with $8.8-million and grossed just over $25-million worldwide. It’s their biggest hit of the year so far and their second biggest overall just behind last year’s excellent Ex Machina. The small assortment of extras includes one 9 minute featurette, a half-hour Q&A with director Robert Eggers and star Anya Taylor-Joy, and commentary from Eggers.
