Brie Larson won the Best Actress award last night for her outstanding work in this film, and she shared the award with her co-star Jacob Tremblay who was equally as great. The home video release includes an audio commentary with director Lenny Abrahamson, cinematographer Danny Cohen, editor Nathan Nugent, and production designer Ethan Tobman; and three featurettes called “Making Room”, “11×11”, and “Recreating Room”.

On the supporting side of the actress awards, Alicia Vikander took home The Danish Girl’s only trophy of the night for her portrayal of Gerda Wegener, Lili Elbe’s wife. The only special feature included on this release is a making of featurette.

Creed had a single nomination for Sylvester Stallone, and many considered him the favourite to win, but after a tight race the Supporting Actor award ended up going to Bridge of Spies’ Mark Rylance. Included in this blu-ray release are two featurettes, “Know the Past, Own the Future” and “Becoming Adonis”, and some deleted scenes.
