In just five more sleeps the Oscars will be handed out, and one of the favoured Best Picture nominees comes to home video just in time for the ceremony. Check out this week’s new releases below.

Spotlight

Three featurettes are included on the release of this Best Picture nominee including “Spotlight: A Look Inside”, “The State of Journalism”, and “Uncovering the Truth: A Spotlight Team Roundtable” in which the real-life Boston Globe Spotlight team reunites for a roundtable discussion about the challenges they faced, and how the shocking story they uncovered continues to impact the world.

The Good Dinosaur

This latest Pixar release comes packed with special features including a few featurettes, deleted scenes, an audio commentary from director Peter Sohn and some of his crew, and the short film Sanjay’s Super Team which is nominated for the Academy Award for Best Animated Short.

Secret In Their Eyes

Included on this release are the featurettes “Adapting the Story for Today’s World”, “Julia Roberts Discusses Her Most Challenging Role”, and a feature audio commentary from director/screenwriter Billy Ray and producer Mark Johnson.
