Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin star in this adaptation of Jojo Moyes’ novel directed by Thea Sharrock. Disability advocates criticized the film’s portrayal of people with disabilities with protests being held across the globe. Film critics were also put off by the film’s narrative, with the Rotten Tomato consensus saying the chemistry of the lead actors “isn’t enough to compensate for its clumsy treatment of a sensitive subject.” (The film earned a Tomato score of 58%.) The Blu-ray release features a “From Page to Screen” extra as well as outtakes and deleted scenes.
