Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Compared to the rest of the series, the fifth Pirates movie was the biggest disappointment yet. Financially, Dead Men Tell No Tales was the lowest grossing of the bunch pulling in $172.5M domestically and, outside of the original film, performed the worst overseas. Critically, the film earned a pretty dismal 29% on Rotten Tomatoes setting a new low mark for the franchise. If you still decide to pick up the home video release you’ll find a number of extras including a seven part making of featurette, deleted scenes and a blooper reel.

A Ghost Story

While you might think a movie titled A Ghost Story would be suitable for some Halloween viewing, you may want to think twice before settling in to watch. The film is definitely not a horror flick. Instead viewers will discover a contemplative drama about love, loss, and bedsheets. The included audio commentary track features director David Lowery, cinematographer Andrew Droz Palermo, production designer Jade Healy, and composer Daniel Hart. The release also includes a 30 minute long roundtable discussion with cast and crew, and a single deleted scene.
