Get into the Halloween spirit this week with some new home video and Netflix releases.

The fictional game that propels the action in Nerve sounds like something out of an episode of Black Mirror: “watchers” issue dares to “players” through an app with the player earning cash if they complete it. The film pulled in $80.4 million at the box office and received good but not great reviews. The home video release contains six special features spread over two watcher and player viewing modes including outtakes, games, and character profiles.

David F. Sandberg adapted his own short film into this surprise summer hit that scared up $148 million worldwide. Not too shabby for a film with a budget of just $5 million. The disc’s only additional feature is an epilogue that was cut from the film after testing poorly with audiences.

No, this isn’t some new Marvel property. Viggo Mortensen stars in this family drama as a man raising his kids on his own terms in the wilderness. Backed by glowing reviews (82% on Rotten Tomatoes) the indie release made $8.5 million globally. Like many indie films however, the home video release doesn’t deliver many special features; the only included extra is the above clip.
