Holocaust survivor shares her story

More than 40,000 Holocaust survivors settled here in Canada after the war.
Eric Vienneau spoke with 84-year-old Nadia Rosa who lives in Dundas.
Back in 1938, she was born in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. During World War II, she was placed in a ghetto with her mother and grandparents and went into hiding. And even though she was only 6 years old when this happened, Rosa remembers much of her experience in vivid detail.
Nadia Rosa has been sharing her story for decades speaking at schools and community organizations. She and other survivors formed a Holocaust Education Committee to help increase awareness in Hamilton.
