Hillcrest Elementary School in Hamilton closed due to power outage

Hillcrest Elementary School in Hamilton will be closed on Tuesday due to a power outage affecting the area.

The child care and before and after-school programs are also closed.

ALERT: Hillcrest Elementary School is closed today, Tuesday, February 9 due to power outage. Crews are on site. Time of restoration has yet to be determined.

The school, which is located near Barton St. E and Woodward Ave., says families will be updated when the power has been restored for school to reopen on Wednesday.
