Highway 6 Crash

On Thursday around 1 p.m., Mark Murphy was driving on Highway 6 near the Hamilton airport when he veered into on coming traffic and crashed into another car.
Murphy, who was driving this black vehicle, was killed instantly. The two men in the other car are expected to survive.
The tragedy has left 3 girls without a father and the news has impacted many in the community.
A family friend set up a GoFundMe page for the family and in one day over 25 thousand dollars has been raised. Friends and family say the financial support from the community of Binbrook has been overwhelming and every dollar will count.
The Social Club in Binbrook will also be holding an auction on Facebook on may 24th to the 26th, with funds going to the Murphy family.
The Ontario provincial police say the cause of the collision is still under investigation, but more details as to what exactly happened will be released this week.
