Ontario’s health care workers are rallying in Toronto today.
Busloads of workers from across the province showed up for the noon protest at Queen’s Park. The rally is to defend impartial interest arbitration and free collective bargaining for the province’s 250,000 health care workers.
They say they want to make sure the government doesn’t try to impose a contract on their sector similar to bill 115, which imposed a two year deal on teachers.
The health workers were also joined by many other public sector workers at the rally.
