Health-care workers from Newfoundland and Labrador coming to Ontario

A cohort of health-care workers from Newfoundland and Labrador will be heading to Ontario on Tuesday.

They are coming to help deal with an overwhelming surge in COVID-19 cases.

Premier Andrew Furey says the workers will offer extra hands wherever deemed most useful.

Ontario reported 3,947 COVID-19 cases on Sunday, with over 2,100 patients in hospital and 851 in ICU.
