Health Canada warns of website illegally selling injectable peptide drugs

Health Canada has issued a warning about unauthorized injectable drugs being sold online illegally.
The public health organization says it has seized several vials of drugs from a website called “Canada Peptide.”
The site sold different injectable peptides that are often used for bodybuilding, anti-aging or athletic performance enhancement, according to the health organization.
Health Canada says they have not authorized or assessed the drugs sold on the site for safety, efficacy or quality.
It advises only using prescription drugs, like injectable peptides, under the care of a health-care professional.
