Hamilton’s Ninth Homicide

Hamilton Police are looking for three people involved in the stabbing death of a 17-year-old on Hamilton Mountain.
Police say a friend of the two victims was intending on driving them to the hospital after they were stabbed a short distance away from the McDonald’s on Upper Wentworth, but he realized one of his friends stabs wounds were too serious, and pulled over here near Limeridge Mall and called 911.
Police say the young man was driving his friends to the hospital after they were stabbed pulled over, dragged his 17 year old friend out of the car and started CPR.
The 17 year old boy had been stabbed in the chest. He died in hospital. The other man in this car, an 18 year old, was also stabbed but is expected to survive.
While the victims ended up near this McDonalds, police say the stabbing happened in a residential neighbourhood near by.
Police say the incident started near Brueville park, less than one kilometre away from the McDonalds on Upper Wentworth. Police say the two victims drove here in a white hatchback to meet someone. That person brought a friend, and as the four were sitting in the car, the two teens were stabbed. A friend of the victims came to help, the attackers ran away.
Police are looking for two attackers as well as the driver in their get away vehicle.
An autopsy was scheduled to take place today in Toronto.
Police say the two attackers they are looking for are young men. One is white with longer hair wearing track pants and a hoodie. The other police say appears to be Asian with an athletic build wearing his hair in corn rows.
They are also looking for the driver of the car, who they do not have a description of.
