Hamilton’s Barton Street was closed to traffic for open streets event

Hamilton’s Barton Street was bustling with visitors on Sunday for the second of three “Open Streets on Barton” events this summer.

A stretch of Barton St. East was closed as pedestrians and cyclists filled the pavement to explore the area.

There were events for everyone, including live music, community outreach opportunities, a curated vendor market and a dedicated kids zone.

The imitative run by the Barton Village B.I.A. aims to unite the community and support local businesses in the area.

There will be one last chance to catch “Open Streets on Barton” this summer coming up on September 17th.
