Hamilton youth camp receives donation

A Hamilton kids’ camp is receiving a major boost today.

McMaster Athletes Care is dedicated to providing under-privileged youth in the Hamilton community with a fun camp experience. To help with this goal, they are receiving a donation of sports equipment from Canadian Tire and Sport Chek’s Jumpstart charity.

The regional manager of the program, Harry Bell, says there’s gear for all types of sports fans. “A lot of hockey equipment so they can play some ball hockey, lacrosse and just different balls and things for them to play and have fun.”

Bell says 4-hundred kids will participate in this camp. This announcement is part of the ongoing Kids to Camp campaign which is also run by McMaster’s Athletes Care campaign.
