Hamilton woman with limited mobility dedicates paintings to people with disabilities
A Hamilton woman with limited mobility due to a life-threatening surgery in 2021 has found a special device called Guided Hands.
Karina Williams now dedicates her paintings to individuals with disabilities in her community, using her artistic expression to inspire and empower others.
This device was created by Lianna Genovese, the founder of ImaginAble Solutions – a start-up company in Hamilton.

It helps those with limited fine motor skills with writing, painting, drawing and using technology.
Genovese says she values community feedback and believes that involving people with disabilities is crucial for understanding their needs and making beneficial changes to Guided Hands.
“Working with Karina has been amazing, she inspires me everyday her story is truly inspiring and everything that she’s gone through she’s been able to have faith and to just keep going and not give up,” said Genovese.
Her main goal for the next few years is to improve the product’s accessibility through design enhancements.
