Hamilton scaffolding fire

Hamilton firefighters were called to a construction site at 40 King Street East at around 1 pm this afternoon after receiving several calls.

It wasn’t long before they realized that the flames were quickly spreading to the building next door.

There were no injuries in the blaze and a cause has not yet been determined.

Damage is pegged at about $100,000.
