Hamilton rooftop police chase

The Special Investigations Unit has been called in after a Hamilton man led police on a rooftop chase.

The SIU says Hamilton police were responding to a call about a domestic situation shortly after midnight yesterday, when they recognized a 41-year-old man wanted on outstanding warrants.

They say the man took off on foot, going from rooftop to rooftop, until officers caught up with him and tasered him.

The man was taken to Hamilton General Hospital with a rib injury.
