Hamilton resident identified as victim of fatal Haldimand County crash

Ontario Provincial Police have identified a Hamilton resident as the victim of a fatal crash in Haldimand County early Sunday morning.

Emergency crews were called shortly after 2 a.m. to a single-vehicle collision on Highway 3 between Cheapside Road and East Concession 7.

Officers say the 45-year-old died at the scene.

The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
