Hamilton prepares for possible flooding

We’ve been dealing with seemingly more snow than we could handle in Southern Ontario so far this winter, but now we’re preparing for record precipitation.

A storm system is expected to dump anywhere from 25-30mm of rain Thursday. That, coupled with melting snow due to milder temperatures, means a greater risk of flooding.

Melissa Raftis found out what the city of Hamilton is doing to help prevent serious flooding.
