Hamilton police seek man following Waterdown bank robbery

Hamilton police are investigating an armed robbery at a Waterdown RBC that happened on May 22.

At approximately 6 p.m., officers responded to reports of an armed man entering the business and directing staff to hand over cash.

The man carried a handgun during the robbery and fled prior to police arriving on scene.

Officers describe the man as wearing a black face covering, a grey Puma hoodie, black pants, and black Adidas shoes with white soles.

Investigators say the man was driving a grey compact Mazda SUV prior to and after the robbery.
