Hamilton police are thanking the public for their help in locating a missing 78-year-old man.

Ralph Tweedle was reported missing after he was seen leaving St. Joseph’s Hospital around 7:40 p.m. Monday.

Police issued a news release Tuesday morning asking for help finding Tweedle as they were concerned for his well-being.

Shortly after 9 a.m., police say he was found safe in the area of Ogilvie St. and Hatt St. in Dundas.
