Hamilton Police mapping crime online

Hamilton Police have launched an online tool that allows residents to search when and where certain types of crimes have happened in the city.

The mapping tool tracks various types of crimes that have happened in the past 60 days, including homicide, motor vehicle theft, and sexual assault. It does not include the exact address of where the crime took place to protect victims’ privacy, but it does show the street and block where it happened.

Residents can also submit an anonymous tip through the online tool.
