Hamilton police arrest two people, seize drugs, weapons, counterfeit currency

Police have arrested two people and seized weapons, drugs and counterfeit currency after raiding a property on the Hamilton Mountain.

Officers say on Sept. 10, a search warrant was executed at a residence in the central mountain area.

As a result, 32-year-old Grant Skidmore of Hamilton was arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Schedule I (Methamphetamine)
  • Possession – Schedule I (Methamphetamine)
  • Possession Contrary to Order (two counts)
  • Possession of Counterfeit Money

Alexandra Prime, 40, of Port Dover was arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamines and possession of counterfeit money.

During the search, investigators seized counterfeit U.S. currency, modified paintball guns, imitation firearms, modified ammunition and a 3D printer believed to be used for producing firearm parts.

Authorities note that it is illegal to possess digital schematics for 3D printing firearms.
