Hamilton police make arrest after man pulls knife on two city workers

Police have made an arrest after a man pulled a knife on two city of Hamilton workers.
Officers were called to the area of Wentworth St. North and Cannon St. East on Wednesday.
Police say a man approached two city waste collectors and waved a knife in their direction.
The employees were able to get away from the situation safely and proceeded to contact police.
Police say the victims were not physically injured during the incident.
A 36-year-old man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, possession of weapon for dangerous purpose, two counts of possession, and three counts of fail to comply with release order.
