Hamilton police make 2 arrests in robbery investigation

Police have charged two men in connection with a robbery investigation in Hamilton.

Earlier this month, officers were called to a robbery at a business in the area of Ottawa St. South and King St. East.

Police say a man entered the business and demanded cash before fleeing on foot.

A similar robbery happened on Feb. 12 in the area of Kenilworth Ave. North and Dunsmure Rd. No injuries were reported in either incident.

Police believed the same suspect was responsible for both robberies and searched a home in the area of Balmoral Ave. South and King St. East on Feb. 19.

Officers arrested 28-year-old Dalton Graham of Hamilton and charged him with two counts of robbery, disguise with intent and possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

They also arrested 24-year-old Tavion Radcliffe of London. He has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of hydromorph for the purpose of trafficking and proceeds of crime under $5,000.
