Hamilton police looking for two men who escaped from custody

Hamilton police are looking for the public’s assistance in locating two men who escaped from custody from the St. Joseph’s Forensic Psychiatry Unit.

Police say they received a report on Tuesday that two men did not return to the facility after utilizing St. Joseph’s ground privileges. Raymond Mitchell is a 31-year-old male, approximately 5’8″, with a heavy build.

He is about 200lbs, with short brown hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, navy sweatshirt, dark blue camouflage shorts, and blue shoes.

Raymond is in the company of Caleb Lowry. Lowry is described as 5’8″ tall, 338 pounds, with a mustache and beard with tattoos on the right side of his neck.

He was last seen wearing a beige sweater, black pants, and black shoes. Raymond has ties to Toronto and Peterborough and Caleb has ties to the Niagara region.
