Hamilton man turns himself in after Queen St. hit-and-run
A 61-year-old Hamilton man has turned himself in to police after failing to remain on scene in a Sunday morning hit-and-run on Queen Street South.
The driver has been charged with failing to remain to cause bodily harm.
The collision occurred around 5:45 a.m. in the southbound lane of Queen Street South, south of Aberdeen Avenue.
Police found an individual on the roadway with serious head injuries. Investigation revealed that they had been struck by a motor vehicle.
The person was transported to Hamilton General by EMS with critical, life threatening injuries.
