Hamilton police are investigating after a home on East 8th Street was broken into Friday morning and items were taken off the property.
Officers spoke with the residents of the home who said three masked male suspects had allegedly arrived at the property at around 6 a.m.
They say two of the suspects forced themselves through the front door and got into a struggle with the homeowner.
The suspects then allegedly stole a safe and other valuables from the home, before leaving out the front door and getting into a waiting black SUV — driven by the third suspect.
Investigators describe the three suspects as Black males with thin builds, who were seen wearing all black clothing, masks and gloves.
Anyone with information or dash camera video is asked to reach out to police at 905-546-3851.
