Hamilton police continue to investigate sudden death at Carter Park

Hamilton police are asking looking to speak with anyone who was in the area of Carter Park Thursday night.

Officers are investigating the sudden death of a 38-year-old man, who was found in the area of Victoria Ave. S and Young St. Friday morning.

“The male was not from the area in which he was located and Hamilton Police are still trying to determine the factors which brought him to that location,” said a police news release.

Police say they are not publicly identifying the man and his family has been notified.

They say the cause of death is not known.

Police say they are looking to speak to anyone who was in the area, between 11 p.m. on Thursday and 10 a.m. on Friday, who may have seen or heard a disturbance.
